I can hook you up. I will have to see what they are worth.

My local overpriced pete dealer priced them to me for $865.00 a piece

That doesn't surprise me, I recently priced two items for my 379, just the lid for the tool box on the passenger side(not the whole box) was $787. For the factory steering wheel (the black leather one with 4 spokes) was almost $700. I told the parts man I'd be going aftermarket......

Im wanting to change alot of things all at once such as to 389 headlights front bumper, repainted frame, strait pipes with muffler under truck, and painted fenders. So far I have the stacks( no brackets yet) new 20" drop bumper. In search of decent deal on some 389 headlight assemblies.

I'll ask around locally, I know a few guys have taken them off. I'll see what I can find.

Thanks Nevs that would be great

Imo... 389 is truck of classic design and headlamps look like a seat on cow... IMO.
379 headlamps are classic square headlamps and look well. For better light pattern we use to install HELLA 1BL 005 380-021 headlamp with projectror from Setra Series 300 buses. This headlamp is good for Freightlines Classic too.
