‘The reason the service network for Peterbilt is smaller than Freightliner is because they don’t need all those service facilities

Maybe so, but the reason they don't need all those service facilities is because there's not nearly as many Petes on the road. Literally half the trucks on the road are Freightliners, while the other half is everyone else combined.

True. And there are also a lot more Chevys on the road then Rolls Royce’s.

True. But that doesn't mean Rolls Royce's are any more reliable or cheaper to repair. And it sure as heck doesn't mean I'm about to go drive Uber with a Rolls. ;)

Get what makes you happy. You can go anywhere the Volvo’s go, you just adapt to the long wheel base and learn to turn and back different than all the haters.

I didn’t like long nose truck as found myself in areas that were near impossible to back into door. Actually had to back in another guys Pete in West Va as longer wheel base their was just no way to physically get it to dock,,,but its your money,,have fun. My not so long pete with my seasonal navigator/sandwich maker

freightliners are cheap that’s why there are so many of them, bean counters love pinching pennies since they don’t know jack #### about trucks

Thank you bringing up the pivot turns on trailers. 3 point turns and wide turns like your pullin a spread axle is really easy on trl axles and such
