It sounds like you have to put in a CD first? Then what kind of CD is it? CDs are formatted differently and players might be restricted on their compatibility. If it's a home burn like from somewhere like Itunes then possibly it's not a compatible CD.eldorado32 Thanks this. -
Not with the CD part of the system, but last week mine lost all the sound. Visually on the touch screen everything worked just no sound. Drove another 1500 miles home then took to dealer. They replaced the part of the system where you adjust the volume and it works good now. Hope this helps in some way. Mine is a 2014 388.

nah i've tried a few different cd's nothing .i can hear jt trying to read it inside the unit but nothing happening except [cd error]

You probably have a defective unit then. Do you have Peterbilt dealers in the land of down under? It should be under warranty.

THERE is a couple of outfits that import and sell them i'll give them a shot tomorrow

i figued it out ends up we have different format cd's so it cant read it must be ntic or something and pal
