Hi, I have a 40' container full of house hold goods that needs to be transported from Wenatchee Wa. to Fairbanks Ak. The shipping rates for a barge up and then train ride to Fbks. are really high. The miledge is around 2400 by road. I was wondering how a trucker would charge for a trip like this to determine if by highway would be any cheaper. Does anybody have sugestions on how to find a trucker interested in a job like this, and how can I make sure my stuff is safe? Thanx

$15,000. This includes myself providing labor for ONE, eight hour day assisting in unloading the container. It also includes the return of the 40' container to a port on the west coast excluding any California ports.
