    Have you thought about going back to the last company you worked for? Even if they sucked but you did good there its a fair chance they will re hire you being off the road only 2 years.

    I took like 5 years off from big truck driving while hauling campers with my 1-ton dually and didn’t have too much trouble finding places that would hire me if I passed a road test. The place I’m at didn’t even bother doing that. You don’t ever forget how…maybe some jitters for a few moments getting into a strange truck after a long hiatus but the muscle memory and spatial awareness never goes away.
