    Thanks to everyone for all the valuable info. One of the great things about trucking since I have been investigating this industry is how supportive and encouraging most seem to be within this field. I realize there are exceptions but for the most part I find truckers really do stick together and support one another.

    I was 55 after 30 years and out at a steel mill I had worked at, I got my CDL and got a job delivering to food warehouses for the last 5 years. Not the most glamerous of driving jobs but I like it and I'm making decent money,,,and,,,not as dirty or dangerous as the steel mill.

    I will finish school next week .graduate on friday ,start work on monday.I was worried too.Age didnt seem to matter with anyone.Im 66.Good luck.
