I own 3 farm trucks, all 379EXHD's. Two have 3406B models that have been turned up, and one has a 444 Cummins.
Here it is one day, ex girlfriend took a picture of me coming I'm during harvest.
It will run that same trailer and all doing fertilizer
I have a lot of farm loads coming up (fertilizer for 2014) I need to haul, one truck is down for the count because of under dash fire several years ago. And my other truck I know is ready to roll.
I've had this 87 for some time now, it's a 379EXHD I converted to a day cab and shortened the wheel base up. It was a great truck and still is but I haven't been able to turn a wrench on it in some time. Some time during harvest my dad noticed the red button doesn't work for the 13 speed part, so I'm pretty sure it's just an airline clogged or something. But this truck is weird, for years I remember it being able to tach 1800 easy and never really needed to go past that (dad bought it new). When I bought it the best it would tach was 1500 now it's down to 1400-1450. Anybody know why it's doing that? It runs awesome, it just doesn't tach like it should. I don't know boost psi or anything of that matter because honestly I haven't payed attention. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
