Nope, just the one's that drive me crazy. the majority of them actually perform well. Down side for me is I don't get to do anything with those drivers, I just get the "special" ones.

Option A: Have CS set up drop trailers on those accounts.

Option B: Give them more than enough time to take their ten hour break just prior to unloading at Walmart.

Either A or B anyone asking for those agree to it just as soon as they can show you in the regulations it is allowed:biggrin_25520:

Right now were running with option B, however it's an uphill battle. the dispatch team thinks eLogs are the problem, even though there drivers have more than enough time to complete their loads. I mean what do you think is going to happen when you arrive at a wal mart dc 7 hours early? So I need someone in Ops to start holding dispatchers and drivers accountable for their failures. Right now I'm the bad guy for asking that drivers follow the HOS and spend a little time trip planning.

Never said it was easy either way.:biggrin_2551:

Best I can tell you is ask the dispatchers giving you fits how far their guy's are gonna get if they get OOS?

Tell the dispatchers, load planners and CSRs that they will be equally responsible financially for any tickets the drivers get for misuse of off duty driving and adverse conditions. FMCSR spells out that delays at the customer do not qualify as adverse conditions. Neither does rush hour traffic in any city.

Photocopy and enlarge the relevant sections. Tell office staff that if they are going to authorize a driver to go directly against HOS, they need to do it over the Qualcomm.

    Meltom and Tazz Thank this.
