45 MPH Construction Zone Speed Limit I-294 Chicago

294 has been clusterfuk for months and they are gonna be doing construction on there for years because of new projects that are scheduled until 2026. They are also adding another highway that’s it’s gonna be called 490. Anyway do what you want. If you get caught speeding it’s a ticket in construction zone or you can stay with flow like all the other knuckleheads. Lol

 

Do your best to follow the laws while in a construction zone, OP. Those other drivers flying through are people that have little to lose. If the average person gets a ticket, their insurance might go up a little. No big deal. But if you get a ticket you might not be able to put food on your table. That's a big deal! Let the fools be the bear bait while you get down the road hassle free.
