I've been back and forth with my dispatcher all day. But countless times so far the information has been wrong. I've been raising hell and no one listens. We had a driver go to Brooklyn the other day. Kept calling and calling and calling. Got to the stop, finally got ahold of someone and they put the wrong address down. Happens all the time. It's nerve racking!

any big city like NY going there very early in the morning would be a must do. you will then only have an issue when you leave.

I read about this in a trucking book. I thought to myself how the hell can someone not know the address to their own work site? Apparently it’s very common

Closest I ever came was the GW and I-80. First week in training, 3 times in one day, trainer made me drive that. Got my own truck, hello Tapanzee.

They date to Robert Moses, the city planner in the 40s and 50s. He wanted to keep the sections of Brooklyn segregated, so they had the bridges mistakes so the busses wouldn't bring one ethnic group into the neighborhood of another ethnic group.

I worked for a company that used to be based on MacDonald in Brooklyn, but they moved to New Jersey. One of the old drivers capped a reefer box on a 12' bridge in Elizabeth, NJ. He told us, as he only did NY deliveries, he thought that it didnt really mean 12'. He was shocked that the sign meant what it said!

I don't know man....what about the rest of the entire State? They all seem wrong.....everyone of them everywhere I go. That doesn't sound like a good reason IMO.

It does drive me nuts though. I see trucks pulled over watching other trucks go though. Heck I have done it! WHY o FRIGGIN why would a State be allowed to put ANYTHING other than actual height!!??? It is insane and should be criminal!
