Look at local comunity college, find one that offers CDL training , go in and talk to the financial aid person , lots of grants and scholarships out there , average is 6 weeks of school , but it will pay off .

Swift has a big academy in Corsicana and they accept pretty much anyone with a pulse.. And no contract. Nice hotel too.
