    My 7FB, will pop and sputter with the jakes on and idling but it don’t kill the engine.

    Does a 7FB jakes set at .080? That’s where my 4MG’s are set, with the 346’s.

    Some engines the oil pressure was low enough at idle that the Jake brakes would not kill the engine at idle.
    Rebuild the engine and now the Jake brake stalls the engine at idle. Tried to tell the driver that is normal but he would not believe me.
