If you are running a truck that you are making any kind of payment on then your bare bottom cost to operate is gonna be in the 1.00 to 1.30 per mile depending on fuel economy and prices etc.... so let's say a guy is averaging 5300 bucks for 3000 miles a week that means he's averaging 1.75 a mile . And when your figuring costs / income you always want to err on the side of caution. ..which means on average ... a guy who has to deal with all the ######## that comes with owning a truck for 45 cents a mile? Go drive for jb for 50 cents .... duh
