I’m in somewhat the same boat. Owned my own truck for the last 6 years, clean record, thought I was in high demand. I’ve applied at at least 6 companies that are hiring in the Vermont/ New Hampshire area and they’ve all denied my application. I guess since we’re trying to get moved up there and I’m not instantly available for work. Bottom feeder companies might be looking for drivers, but good companies aren’t really all that desperate I don’t think.

 

And the passport is the only govt issued ID that doesn’t have your home address on it .
