    "he can gross from 2200 to 2400 a week and sometimes 2800-3200 a week" plus what he said the truck can make a week seems low?he must have meant miles a week not pay?

    big difference from gross to net...

    gross is BEFORE ALL bills are paid..

    net is AFTER all bills are paid.

    you could end up making less with him than you think.
