50% of net offered from OWNER OPERATOR To drive his truck?

    I just read through this.
    Good choice turning down this job.

    None of us have any clue what the gross revenue will be for his truck, much less the net revenue. In fact, he won't even know the net revenue. Is this net EBITDA? He probably can't even figure out the depreciation, or how much he's goijg to have to spend repairing the truck.

    What if his engine blows and he has to pour $20k into it??

    He could pay you 25% of the net and still take a loss. No idea.

    If he paid you 50% of the gross revenue after fuel, he's gonna go broke anyways so you might as well not even take the job.

    Beware anyone who offers employee pay as a % of something.
    Heck, beware of anyone who pays on a 1099 period. Unless you own/lease the truck.
