I guess we’ve never hauled any. We’ve hauled p&g and the dollar store and chewy oh and tractor supply.

"Up to" is always a bait-and-switch. It's a number that they've calculated you could theoretically hit but in reality you never will.

I recently saw job posting for a home daily local crude oil driver advertising "up to $128k per year." I knew that was too good to be true so I scheduled a meeting with the terminal manager to see what kind of money his drivers were actually earning. Turns out his guys are making about $85,000 a year. MOTS: never believe the "up to" number, do your research and find out what a more realistic figure would be.

Let me put it a different way. Is your company(you) paying you a set salery every week, or 2 weeks? Or are you set up for you to be paid directly what the truck earns?
You can structure your company, to have yourself as an ‘employee’ of the company, and you would work on a W-2 from your own company.

$13k each of you per year? Why not just be a company driver?
