Well, just got a message that my 90 day DBL has to large of a load. He said "I found drivers that o feel do a great job! Also drivers that have a good attitude." So on and so on to basically graduate to regular DBL's. He did use the word graduate though. So I guess this means no more 90 day DBL. I immediately called in and said there must be a mistake and read the above and I'm nothing like that. So yayyyyy me!!! Right? I don't know. I think I've been transferred to the before mentioned Zonks DBL. LOL this also came after yesterday when I really let my DBL have it. I was ticked about the day before. I was ticked that I had scheduled guaranteed home time for 7am this morning. And I'm still in my truck waiting for live unload. But mostly I was pissed because I still am on the Per Diem when I signed the paper to get off of it after my first week on it. 6 weeks later. Still on it. Also I haven't been reimbursed for the first week cab ride and the fuel for rental car. $80. Next day switched to Zonks lol. Crazy.

Yeah, you really have to get on them for reimbursements. Once they screwed me over for a $6 light bulb (!!!), so I don't mess with it anymore.

    Enjoy your time off.

Mini vacation almost over. Chattanooga is really nice. First time here. Went to do the extreme zip line thing today. About 3 hours of obstacle courses with some zip line thrown in. Then the very end was a rock wall. 5 levels I took the 3. I made it to the top but wanted to die after. I'm sure to be sore everywhere tomorrow. Leaving for Memphis in the morning and then getting ready to go out the following (Tuesday) morning. My truck was in the shop for PM stuff. I have a feeling that there's going to be an issue just like last week when I came back. I called the new DBL and asked her about deadheading to the OC because I didn't have an assignment to do so. She told me yes, then I got there and I brought it up again. She said she would look into it. So here we go. My prediction is out there. I'm guessing it shows me still at my live unload. We'll see though. Hope yall are keeping safe out there!!!

Who has 2 thumbs and was right about my next assignment? THIS GUY **points both thumbs at self**!!! Not exactly right but close enough. Monday night I check my preassignment online. And I've got a live load at the last place I unloaded at before I left. For 7am. So I get to the OC early 6am. Pretrip. Load my truck. Then I realize I don't have an assignment to pick up an empty. I have to call in. I do that. They give me one. I hook up. The rear clearance middle light is out. Everything going against me trying to make this work and pick up on time. They take forever to fix it. I'm an hour late. While being loaded I call up and bring up that we talked about it 3 times and it still didn't get done. She said she'd fix it.
I took the load up to KC. Got within 30 miles and called it a night. My delivery appt time was 1145. When I talked to my DBL earlier I mentioned being early and if she could see about moving appt up or if she thought I should just show up early or sleep in. She said show up early. I do. 8am. Still sitting here. Not her fault. I thought the same. The only benefit I can see to this waste of day (other than using my TV that I don't use often) it'll be hard to run out of hours this week. My ongoing issue. Lol I'm planning on staying out till next weekend. Catch up a bit on my TAH%.

I was on hold for 30 min saying I was the 2nd call in line. I gave up. Texted the DBL. She texted me back and gave me a different number to call when I got here and assured me they were loading until 1800. I got here and called. It's I guess in the tunnel system underground do those are the directions to stay in the lot outside. I called at 1700 sat on hold for 1:30. As the number 1 caller on hold. Called back in to let them know that the guard said I could stay in the lot overnight but I can't get a hold of them. There are 3 other drivers here doing the same thing. One guy been on hold for 4 hours now. Won't give up I guess. I've been advised to call again at 0700 if they don't answer to call the office back up. Sorry I didn't detail everything. Of all the times I've called the numbers listed, maybe 5 times, it's only been a right number once. But that time the company name was incorrect and had been changed for 2 years.

Things have been pretty good this week. Had a couple hiccups early on. I was planning on being out for this weekend then back home next weekend. Then they routed me home for a live load Tuesday morning here in Memphis. I pulled in this afternoon in time to make it a reset. So home with the family for labor day. My neck is killing me. I'm not sure what it is. Wife was rubbing it a little and found I've got a knot in my shoulder blade area. Funny how that will make your neck hurt. Wasn't really paying much attention but when I fueled I noticed I was closing in on 20k miles. Just over 17k. And tomorrow is my 8th week anniversary on my own. That's a little over 2100 miles a week. I'm averaging about 2 days off a week almost too. I'm sure that number will increase. But for now I can't complain. I've heard some horror stories on miles. So for all my complaining I've done on here it's not all that bad.

I had asked about transferring to another department to my 90 day DBL. He said I had to wait 6 months. I've had some others say you can go anytime. I checked the board again and the account I was interested in was no longer there and nothing available in the Memphis market. I guess I might just wait until I see something again and call about it. Or if anyone knows anything about any openings please let me know.

I'm also getting more interested in O/O. I said when I went in to school that I had no interest in it and would never do it. Now I'm beginning to reconsider. I've been reading some posts about experiences and information. May start another thread asking some more specific questions I have.

I believe some of the terminals offer an "optimal seat adjustment" service, might want to give it a try. It might help your neck.

Who would I talk to? I've talked to the PT guy at Indy and the lady at West Memphis. I do hunch over a bit with bad posture. I'm tall as well 6'4. My height is torso though. For example I wear a 32" inseam in pants. So sitting in the seat with the bottom seat cushion all the way down my head is way above the back of the seat. Actually the base of my neck is over the back of seat. Or even. I just bought a back cushion to help my posture today. Hoping that will help. The installed air bags don't help at all. I don't think they form in the right spots for me.

Meant to upload these earlier. This was the live load I was talking about being at earlier in the week that I was on the phone for over an hour on hold for. Got in the the next morning. It was in the underground cave system. Pretty cool. Very tight for maneuvering. Luckily I didn't hit anything and the whole cave collapse. I thought I looked like a big moron backing up. I had to go back and forth some 9k times. I got in and a guy came to a spot close to me and did the same thing. But half the amount I did. He said he had been coming there almost every day for the last 7 years. Made me feel a little better.
