I had bought a back alignment cushion yesterday. I'll see how that works this week. I bought today on Amazon a posture corrector brace. It will come in while I'm on the road but I'll try that out next week and see. Got a call today from DBL that said I'm over due for my 60 day training course to take? He said it would take about 4 hours so is routing me back home this Friday. Funny when I want to come home they keep me out and when I want to stay out they keep brining me home lol. Definitely not complaining. Any family time is good time.
Is the Atlas representative the Physical Therapy person? I have talked to them about it. They gave suggestions but that is about all. One gave me an exercise to do. It relieves the pain for about 30 min. I'm not sure what it is from though. It is either the bad posture or muscle soreness from trying to correct the bad posture. Using muscles I'm not used to using. I'll figure it out soon. Nothing that's killing me as of yet. Could have worse things to complain about. I'm still trying to decide on whether or not to get a lawyer to fight for the $300 they been taking out of my check for per diem. Or just eat it. -
There's no way the training should take 4 hours. Mine was 1 hour and 15 minutes. You sign off on a couple terms &conditions/agreement pages on the computer then hook up to a trailer, trailer pre-trip and a 15 minute drive around town. Honestly it would have taken 45 minutes if my OSR didn't have such a hard time walking and getting up into my truck. I'm sure as you've come to find out, there isn't much uniformity throughout the company so yours very well could take 4 hours but there is no reason it should.

What does OSR stand for and what do they do besides giving road tests to new hires?

If I remember right, there may be a stipulation where youre on per diem for 90 days when you start. The last time I worked there, I was on per diem and I raised seven kind of kaine about it and they wouldnt take me off it until 3 months. Then they dropped my pay and I left after that so I only saw it for 2 checks
