Is the other gig OTR or local? You gotta do what you gotta do. Chances are, Schneider isn't going to be changing their shenanigans anytime soon.

The common trend, at least with me- when you give notice in this line of work, your loads get substantially better in those two weeks.

They don't want to lose a driver they spent a considerable amount of money to train. Your right. It's almost like you have to put your two weeks in every two weeks.lol. Shouldn't be that way but it is what it is I guess. I would think it gets better after you gain seniority but I don't know. I didn't make it that long.

Hate to see this guy go though. His posts are entertaining as all get out and always my first go to when I'm looking for a laugh. Good luck in whatever you decide dude.

Yeah. Been running hard. And watching sports in down time. Haven't made time to post. I am drafting an email to send to my recruiter. She called my wife and a lot was talked about lol. She either has a lot of pull, cares about employees or her bonus really really bad. I didn't speak with her but from what my wife said she was pretty open to hearing what I had to say. I thought about just referring her to here lol. That could get me in trouble though. I've said some not so nice things in here. But I'll update more when I have time.

I didn't realize that recruiter's bonus relied on you staying for a certain amount of time.

That's actually a good question. I had always assumed it was a given if you haven't the keys to a truck and were a full member of SNI. I had never considered there may be a time stipulation. Maybe that's why so many of the recruiters quit. I was on my 3rd one by the time I walked through the North salt lake OC doors

With the company culture the way it is, I'm not surprised if that is indeed the case. When I took my road test in Chicago, the guy told me that van trainers are paid on some sort of a structure that depends on the student staying with the company for a set amount of time (4-6 months?) to receive the full pay. @gentleroger
