    TE's get an extra $15 per month per student for 6 months safe driving. With the gene pool being so shallow it's not easy to get it. No offense rookies, but 90% have a disqualifying incident within 90 days

    Just for the record, what I said was an assumption that they get a bonus. I have referred a couple people and have one bonus lined up for Dec and haven't gotten the message yet from the other one. Both from the school I went to.

    Also to answer a previous question, the company I was initially wanting to go with is a small company close to where I live. It's a regional position. One of my instructors with 30 years of driving experience quit and went to work there and loves it. They have every weekend off. Prefer that you do that too. Every once in a while you can stay out longer than a week but they don't like you doing that more than once a month. Most drivers get home on Friday afternoon at the latest Saturday by noon. Go out usually Sunday night or Monday morning. They only hire from the school I went to. I've talked to him this week. Told him I'm on the fence. Parts of me wants to leave and a part of me doesn't. I'm going to see what they can offer me after I send in this email. So it all depends on them. We'll see. Probably send it on Monday if I get it done. So far it may be longer than my longest post here. She may get past the first paragraph and delete it lol.

    Can someone plz tell me what WF , NAT , OTM , OCD , DBL etc.... mean ? Thx:)

    Any time the brakes are set and you get within arms reach check WF/NAT, be OCD about it. Sometimes the hamsters get tired of running on the wheel that powers OTM, have a couple beers and start mucking about because they can.

    $15 a month retention, $15 safety. So in theory you can make up to $180 per student in bonus money. In reality it's generally $100-120. Add the $60 per day and it starts looking like real money.

    Then you figure miles lost per week - 500

    Then you add up the extra hours (logs, trip planning, getting up early to accommodate two people) etc.

    Then add the stress of "oh my god what the duck did you do that"

    All of a sudden the money doesn't look so hot.
