I've got a road test tomorrow with the company that I vaguely mentioned. So the ball is rolling. I'm slightly worried about testing in a 10 speed. I didn't ask him if it would be in that because I didn't want to show any hesitation. I'll be honest though, I only know how to double clutch and the clutch part is the least of my worries. I drive a manual VW also and every now and then catch myself shifting that way lol. I'm more concerned with forgetting about the switch selector. I spent 5 months in school in a 10 speed. Then 3 weeks training on one with Schneider. But my whole career driving on my own has been automatic. My thoughts are that they are a fully automatic fleet though. All trucks are young. All trailers are as well. They all have the trailer tail system. The company was awarded within the top 50 fleets in the US for green equipment. So I'm thinking I'll be alright. I'm hoping I'll be on the road after the first of the year. Just a small Christmas vacation. ####ters full!!! Being called in for a road test is a good sign for everything else right?
