Windsmith is right.I thought I drove a slow truck until I pull up to a Prime driver. I don't know how you can make money driving that slow and then getting live unloaded for free.

The company drivers move slowly so that they can qualify for the fuel bonus. They don't have to, but they get paid more if they meet their MPG target.
People can make money at Prime, but it takes using every bit of your 70, then back to work after your 34. And don't go home.
Like I said, it's right for some people.123456 Thanks this. -
So where and who is this $80K+ job? Sounds like something I would be interested in.

I've posted the company in previous posts and comments. It's based in Scranton, PA.
If you're interested, send me a PM. I don't want to hijack this thread.BlissFamilyTrucking Thanks this. -

Idc about appointment times. If Im not running through the house, I run 10:58 every day that I can. If I get there early and I can squeeze in a reset (like it happens sometimes) I get paid for it. Layover baby
only time I take unpaid time off is at home which is where I am truly off duty.
I believe even when we're "off duty" out here we are still looking out for truck, load etc... So if appointment can't be rescheduled (earlier) pay me for my time... I am willing and able to keep running, not my fault I'm not.
Maybe some won't agree with my way of seeing things but that's fine. I'm out here trying to get money, I am under paid as it is, specially capped with my earning potential with governor on the truck and the stupid hos/elds which prevent me/everyone else from deciding how much they want to earn.
It's hilarious how we are in a performance based pay/industry yet everyone is capped at how much they can perform so it's not really up to the individual. So much for freedom.Crusader66 and TheFriscoKid Thank this. -
Because I know genius. Tell him to post those statements
actually Inown my truck and made a great choice thank you very much. I'm not a troll nor have my head up my butt as you do. Tell him to post statements. I bet he won't because I'm telling the truth genius. If you doing the regular lease you aren't going to make much $ and to pay that truck you have to stay out forever because one week home will take 2 weeks to get it the hole. No assumptions , just facts. When you got the title to your truck sir, get back with meTheFriscoKid Thanks this. -
More than two weeks if your fleet manager ain't getting you good revenue to go along with high costs of operation! I have to agree with this statement. Why, some may ask? Because I'm living it now! Lol!swervyjoe Thanks this.
