This is the second driver that took out a small bridge in Indiana. Remember the other guy from Chicago about a year ago?

There used to be a 4 ton wooden bridge I had to cross in Boring Maryland in my milk tanker days. The trick is that there was a very small fire department sign allowing similar axle loadings for a engine with three axles. As it happened the tractor would fit first then come off before the trailer came on. The axle loading was somewhat similar to what was allowed to fire engines for that particular bridge.

I cannot help anyone too stupid to understand no trucks period on that there bridge that collasped. Served him or her right.

How is it possible for someone to hold a steering wheel and not know what 6 tons really was.

I say this that old bridge had a hell of a foundation. Shes lucky that the far end did not fail and cause her to run into a stone wall. In any case it would not have made it that far, what with the trailer chewing on the top.

That's the way I feel, I could go either way on jailing her.
At least she has to pay 2 grand for the inspection, that's a harsh punishment for her

I think the insurance company ought to have a good case against her and the carrier for gross neglegance. For Christ sake even cr England went over how much a ton is. I think she should be on the hook for the whole bridge.

Maybe not. But as somebody says, it "sends a message." I'm sick and tired of seeing these stupid dirt bags come into court with a mouthpiece and all kinds of reasons why they shouldn't just be thrown in jail for a while.
I also find it hard to believe that she was in a "normal" state when she did this. I wonder if they even did a DRE screening on her.

OK, so they spend the money to sue her, and they get an award. And then she declares bankruptcy and goes on welfare.....
