Welcome back. Did they catch the person who murdered your wife? Such a tragedy, I hope your dealing with it and kinda sounds like you are since you’ve found someone you may want to settle and have kids with. You know your wife would want you to go on living life, hopefully she is with the lord and one day you guys meet up again. Anyways, I was going to THANK you for giving credit to @Chinatown for his knowledge and help with all these drivers looking for places of employment. To me he is one of the most helpful people on this board so I feel like I need to thank him too. Anytime anyone has an employment issue @Chinatown is always here to help. We as TTR users always suspect he will be around so I just thought I’d thank him for always coming through. We do appreciate his knowledge. As a member of TTR I have certain people I always look at what they are posting although I’ve never met them and I would wonder if they ok and such if they are not posting. I feel like I’ve gained several trucker friends in just the short amount of time I’ve been on here. So really thanks to everyone who have answered questions I have had and just know I truly appreciate your responses, and I also enjoy seeing your posts. So a big thank you for all the members on TTR.

I was in the St. Louis area and talked to some Quality Carriers employees the other week. I heard they have good freight running out of Tennessee. I heard Linde is at 72 CPM up here in Chicago. Langer guys are making bank. That would be my short list of common carriers to work for. I know these guys don’t advertise a whole lot. I was quite shocked to hear QC had the largest bulk fleet on the market.

    Current fuel hauler here.....

If you choose fuel hauling for your next gig, even though it's "home daily".....just know that it also will likely start off with working nights, weekends and holidays.

I'm single, with no dependents, so that works for me....at least for the time being.

Again--if you decide on a fuel hauling job--try to find fuel hauling jobs that pay by the hour; if not paid by the hour, make sure the pay includes a certain minimum per day--or per week.

Before applying with Circle K--get turned down by both Love's, and Pilot/Flying J.....first (both of those pay by the hour).

Generally speaking....the working conditions will be better among the fuel private fleets.
