60 40 split for company driver under an Owner Operator teaming?

    My reply comes late because I joined late but for the benefits of future references, I will opt for a 30% off the gross revenue, fuel could cost 35%-40 of the gross, insurance and repairs will take atleast 25%, pray that there are no major breakdown that could cost 2 months of revenue, in that case you are screwed off your salary plus down time, with gross pay, you dont care how and when he fuels and costs of running his business, I can never settle for such , give it a second thought or take my advice and walk away.

    All these company drivers out here making $1600 or more take home. Just remember if you take it, you can always walk any day you feel like it. If he takes care of his truck and watches expenses, I go it's a good deal. Now teaming and getting along with a relative. That's another story.
