What a horrifying situation. They say dead man walking we must be a dead country walking. -
Nah, they need to replace all the people that are gonna drop dead from exposure.
You get sick at an Amazon DC?
They'll fire you on the spot.
No sick leave.x1Heavy Thanks this. -
I would hang them by their thumbs at the Dept of Labor. -
Sorry, it will likely happen but will take much longer to perfect. My guess is that they’ll send these trucks in droves and there will be some drivers and engineers riding in one of those trucks in case there is a technical problem. From the looks of it, they’ve already been testing them for at least a couple years.
Max Mulsanne Thanks this. -
They like their sheep,,.
Err, employees,,,
Sorry, "associates"
(or is it "team members" now?)
Docile. -
Truck drivers will be a thing of the past and most of you know it. Paying for someone to hold a steering wheel isn’t a great use of $$$

Lmfao you'd #### your pants if you seen what real truckers do for work. I'm talking dragging a piece of logging gear up the side of a mountain on a narrow, twisty bush road. Dead of winter, 8 inches of fresh snow. All 3 drive axles chained up with triples and steer chains on. It ain't a job most drivers would survive.
