2019 Pete 567 X15 605hp 1850tq 18 speed 355 rears. My normal lane is I-81/I-70 between the TN/VA line up to Baltimore and back. Going north I’m usually 68k-72k gross and coming south I’m usually 76k-79k gross. My average is 5.5-6.1 depending on how heavy my right foot gets. However, I can assure you, mine does not fall flat on its face on the hills as someone else had said theirs does. Rolling southbound loaded 78k gross, I usually top Christiansburg about 55mph.
TomGodin Thanks this. -
I drove a ISX set at 550 and 1850 torque with an 18 and 3.36 rears on 24 low pro in a 17 model W9 for 45 days. Just as the factory sent it. 4.9 to 5.0 was tops but we are 80K all the time. The Jake was the best thing about it motor wise. All around in general use I would take a 475 6NZ all day every day. I seen a 400 big cam run off an hide from the ISX. @OLDSKOOLERnWV was a witness
Oxbow and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this. -
Yes Sir I remember, there was about 6000 lbs difference in our payloads, not sure what your light weight was....??? Empty I’m 33,900 lbs. but we were close. Although I’m a Cummins guy mostly, I agree with you on the Cat / ISX as mentioned in this thread.
I was in shock the ISX didn’t pull any better than that...... but I don’t have a stock Big Cam eitherDieselDisciple, Oxbow and wore out Thank this. -
I could a had 10k less than you and not changed the outcome
Trucker186, Oxbow and OLDSKOOLERnWV Thank this.
