    Cant be built to a factory spec 600hp, only as high as 550hp. you can get 600hp if you add aftermarket mods.

    I thought so couldnt find any comparison on sis or truck.cat.. Have one that has crank damage found durring an inframe today.

    If you have crank damage anyway you can add a reman crank, rods and pistons and build a 15.8 litre (aka C16), the 6TS can be converted to a 1MM (15.8 litre 3406E) with crank, rods, pistons and turbo then program ECM to a 1MM file and you have a 600hp 15.8 litre 3406E.

    Hello crazzy448. Would be interested in hearing the $ figure when you get done figuring cost to upgrade. It is a tempting upgrade if you have to replace the crank anyway??? :yes2557:

    Now that I think about it the serial number prefix to compare to would be 5DS rather than 1MM, they are both 15.8 litre 3406Es but the 1MM uses the same 70pin ECM as the C16 whereas the 5DS has the same 40pin ECM as a 5EK/6TS engine.
