7 Axles with an 80,000lb Trailer?

    I didn’t think so, but just thought I’d mention it. The 13,000 lb difference sounded about like the empty weight of a trailer.

    If you plan to get serious about heavy haul, you may want to trade in the trailer as well as the tractor. 3 or 4 axle trailers with a flip incase you are going to be using different combos up front. Could even stay with tandem tractor and get a jeep. Decide on the right jeep for your needs, 1, 2, or 3 axle jeeps available.
    Tri drive truck, pulling a tri axle jeep, with a 3 + 2 trailer, well now your in the big leagues, but over kill for most stuff. Moved a Cat 352 last week over some nasty terrain, 92360 kgs gross, just go slow and easy is all. Always remember speed is your enemy when you're pulling 200k lbs.
