Paging @Chinatown mainly.
I live in Dallas-Fort Worth. I have 7 months OTR exp pulling doubles and 53's for a FedEx contractor. My boss is awesome, but they don't have any solo work for me, and I'm going to lose my mind if I have to team drive any longer.
I have all of my endorsements, a TWIC, and a clean record. I'm looking for a solo position on a home daily, dedicated run or a regional triangle run where I'm out for 3.5 days and home for 3.5 days. No touch freight. Dry van, tanker, cans, and Hazmat ok. I don't have a good enough back for touch freight or flat bed.
Home time is most important to me. Money is least.
TIA for any help.

The BAD news -- for drivers with less than a year of experience -- right now is a really crappy time to be looking for CDL work -- & ESPECIALLY for local or home-daily gigs.

You need AT LEAST 5 more months of seat time b4 you are really close to "good to go" in that market.

 You have thus been warned...

Yeah I figured. I'm still employed. I just cannot stand the co-driver they assigned to me and they've got no one else to replace him with.

No worries. I forgot to add that I have a manual restriction.Flat Earth Trucker Thanks this.

I recently applied at Western Dairy Transport and I think they were going to hire me except that the guy conducting the phone interview decided to dislike me for some reason.

Perhaps WDT would like you better.

 Indeed.com has job listings galore.

Yessir. I use indeed. Unfortunately there is no good way to sort through all the ######## on there to find what I'm looking for. It's not much better than craigslist these days.MSWS and Flat Earth Trucker Thank this.

One driver on here worked for Roehl and home every day in Dallas.
I doubt Roehl has any stick shift trucks.
 Contact Roehl and ask.
 ~
Contact JRayL and ask about automatic restriction. Several drivers on here worked for JRayL and posted it's a very good outfit.

Bulkley has home weekends. Maybe can park your Moped at the terminal so you have transportation home for the weekend.

I've found a lot of old job postings at Indeed are still listed as current. But if you really want a better job it's just about putting in the effort to sift through things until you find the one that fits you.
