I lot of the "postings" on Indeed aren't even real. I read that Indeed has software to scan jobs pages on company websites and then uses the information to create postings on its own platform as if the employer put it there themselves. I only use Indeed as a starting point. If I find a job that looks interesting, I immediately search for the company's website to pull up the ad. If it's not on there, or they don't have a site, I disregard it.

 

You've made it 7 months, 5 more to go and you'll have all the options for local.

 

I’ve driven for J Rayl out of our Sunnyvale (just east of Dallas) terminal for coming up on five years. Good folks, and they have a mix of manuals and automatics.

 

You could do solo otr for 5 months.
