No you heard correctly. They seem like awesome offers. Hard to make a choice between them. I was also offered .43cpm at Schneider, but idk if I want it because OTR isn't my goal. I think waste management is my #1 choice, but the delivery jasy and decent money and will hire me instantly.

^^^ Thats the truth right there ^^^^

There is mega turn over in Waste Management. I worked for them for 11 years. I personally don't recommend WM for anyone. Its incredibly hard to work for WM. Its worse now than ever. Turnover is horrible. I know it sounds like I am just throwing rocks at WM here but, go to any site like "Career Builder" that posts available jobs & you will see WM looking for employees consistently week after week. They are as bad as concrete/cement plants.

There are several threads here on TTR already about WM. Just do an Advanced Search for "Waste Management" & choose the "Title only" option & click search. Just read through the threads & posts. I think you'll see I am telling you straight up.

    Good luck driver....

Yeah most say "good pay and benefits if they don't can you for no reason". Management supposedly is difficult. What was the #1 reason you left?

Rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules, rules.

No one can do their jobs because the rules change on a weekly basis... wait, no the rules don't change, they just add new ones that conflict with 10 other rules they have dreamed up. They want the job done but when you go out to do it, no matter how you do it, you're gonna break a rule. Why? Cause there are so many rules conflicting other rules. If you do your job like they explained this morning, you going to violate a hand full of previous rules. Then they ride you about it. Writing you up, suspending you or firing you.... which is common. Again, they have very high turnover (some places more than others), because either people get fed up with the abuse or they eventually get fired.

There's a lot of great info in this thread! I'm I. A similar situation as the OP but I have 1 year OTR with a pile of 53' delivery experience in Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Usually the guy riding with you is your helper. He helps you, but you do half the work. Anyway have you taken a new job yet?
