Of course if somewhere you can not idle... then I'd make sure not to go there again.....LOL

Knight is what people here call, a "bottom feeder". They don't really care about their drivers. I have no idea if they have APUs or not (or Clean Idle), but it wouldn't surprise me if they didn't.

When I left at the end of last month they didn't. They complained about idling, and they have the trucks set up so that if you idle to much it cuts the gov. back. By the time I left my truck would only go 60 mph. I idled and didn't care, I stay cool/warm.

I'm confused, people say there's no money in truck driving then complain when they get put out on the road? If your intention is to make money, and actually drive a truck, wouldn't you want to stay out longer to do so?

Yeah, I keep thinking the same thing. You seem to want to completely waste 33 to 50% of your earning potential. Just because you don't have rent to pay?

Maybe you have some kind of plan, idk, but you're throwing away 10 to 20 thousand dollars just because you "don't have many bills atm". Get a goal. Hell, you don't even need to do that yet. Save some money for when you don't feel like being a squatter with no bills. I'm not gonna have any real significant debt when I go into trucking (finish a few small credit cards off and take care of the school loan), but I'm still gonna drive as much as they'll let me.

Money = happiness. Ever see a sad person on a jet ski?

Well i have been with knight for almost 2 months and have saved an additional 3 grand.. Again, $$ is not an issue.. I just want experience so i can go haul tankers at another company with my uncles.. (martin transport).. I plan to retire by the time im 45.. lol.. Im 26 now.. Money definetly motivates me, but i made so much cash before i started driving trucks that i was fortunate enough to save alot, so i didnt come in to trucking strictly for money.. Im currently doing 3 weeks out 3 days home until i finish 30000 miles under their training program and then i will be doing 14 and 7.. So there is no need to be confused.. I was doing some bad things before i started driving and was fortunate enough not to get caught and was able to save alot of money... Im just trying to do things legit now because i have more to live for.. (a child).. thanks for the replies tho
