70 hour rule and Military Service?

    Now that I think of it the requirement for national security it was applicable to oversize trucks. I needed the permits unless the movement was necessary for national security or wartime efforts. I didn't have to pay for them but I did need them. Even for military vehicles. I borrowed a semi from a unit in VA once and they had a yearly permit to move bulldozers. So as I remember more (you know how age acts) I clearly remember reading on the back of the states permits. Thank you for your time.

    I didn't say that. All I said was it was off-duty time. I will look Friday if you remind me but I may be leaving for AL tomorrow. I don't know yet............family illness
