Wow man.... It's like you're committing an act of evil just for getting paid well to do a job that must be done. There's absolutely NO opportunity for most guys going up there to get a reload out so why in the world should they not get a round trip rate plus more going up there? Fuel may be scarce, looters are running rampant in places, there could be danger for someone going up there. So explain why someone should do that for nothing? Look, we all have needs. Sure, those people need food and water. But I need to pay my bills. Look if I was J.B. Hunt and worth gazillions I would probably ship some loads for free, but I'm not and I can't. As it is I won't go up there for ANY price. I just don't do east coast. Does that make me evil?

you are so right i was paid 6k to come up here 1300 miles to bring generator but I had to drive 26 straight hours and i had to drive through a snow storm and a hurricane i finnally had to pull of road in pa when it got too bad so were risking our lives more then usual and broker gave me a choice i could either bobtail home or stay up here and make money delivering generators so thats what im doing it isnt evil its business and if you cant understand that you wont last long in this business
