Nope...13.75, actually--0001 to 1100 = 11.00
-----------------------2100 to 2400 = 3.00
Since you have to show a pre trip or post trip, either side you get your fuel to combine the PTI with fuel...leaving 13.75 for a legal log for the 24 hour period.
But you are all missing the key issue...he is running out of the top of GA across TN then KY, and going through IL. The route does not really allow for anything over 65 (legally) and most will be under 65...IL is 55 remember, (but we all know we can get away with 60-62) but with these limits, a legitamate average would be 57-59 for the entire trip. So given this: 58 x 13.75 = 797.5 miles could be done in the 13.75 hours...not allowing for traffic problems or the like.
Roadmedic..put away your stethescope..we have achieved an 11-44 issue here! Unless someone wants to argue and create a 51-50 environment!![]()

He might have came up I65 thru Indiana and cut across I-74 alleviating much more of the 55mph stretch thus allowing him a much higher average speed.

To the poster who claimed more than 600-650 miles a day would throw up red flags and be questioned that's a joke. I often log 690 - 700 miles a day in a 65 mph truck and have never once been questioned about it even through a DOT audit because ALL my receipts and time stamps match within a few minutes. It's really not that hard to do if you run when you have hours and minimize your stopping time.

I said in a 11 hour day, so if you log 690-700 in 11 hours-in a 65mph truck, more power to you. I know better.............
