Does anyone know where a salvage aerocab 72" midroof sleeper top may be located. I have studio and want a midroof. I need the top and inside upper trim pieces to covert or perhaps an entire 72" midroof sleeper. Kw wants 4800 bucks ha

Kenworth has flattop sleepers or standup. Midroof is a Freightliner option. I think what he is asking about is a roof fairing for the top of an 86" studio to deflect air over the top of a dry van or reefer trailer...

They call the newer style flat top KW's midroofs also. Don't even know if they build the old style original flat top anymore?

Call around to the big yards... Hartley, Bray, etc. call every Kenworth/Peterbilt dealer that has a body shop... they usually have old sleepers laying around... same for generic truck body shops.

When you see a KW with a daycab conversion kit installed ask the driver what happened to his sleeper.

I'm looking for a 36" flat top unibilt bunk for my Pete to replace my 63" raised roof ... let me know if you find one of those!

    duh on me !!!
i read it like he wanted to cut the studio down to be a flat topper
yes lots of roof deflectors around--just call your local boneyard
i remember once when we cleaned out the yard at work--i took 4 deck loads of sleepers and roof air deflectors to the boneyard

Yes kw does make a "midroof" it's about 10 inches lower than a studio. Kw makes a flat top with a small hole to crawl through. Non aerocab. Then aerocab has a low midroof with no windows, then studio. Three different cab/sleeper combos. Anyway I don't like the windows and hate a studio look compared to a flat top. That's why I want to change it. I got the truck dirt cheap and it needs paint so I want to do it now.
