72mph # Swift Will get you FIRED,
They did to me without warning. Crazy right.
My truck broke down and it would take weeks to fix it. So instead of finding me a new truck they just fired me to save them the work to find me a new truck. Only worked there for 1mo. (They said I over speed 3wks ago)
All Well, After a 1 1/2 of trucking I had a smileeverytime I steped out of my truck # .25cpm a year ago to a Awful after taste
. and Im just only 23yr

People actually get behind the wheel?JimDriv3r Thanks this. -
maybe it was cause you couldnt read numbers? After all, you use a "#" instead of the "at"...difference between using a 3 and a 2 with the 'shift' key. Kinda like using the clutch to shift, you probably can't to that right either.
congrats...scottied67 Thanks this. -
Using T instead of D is like turning left, instead of right. -
hahahahah.....and as bad as you call swift, and how bad everyone says swift must be.......you still got fired by swift......meaning, you wernt good enough for 'bad' swift. hahaahhahahahaha i'm dying over here......too funny !!!!!
please tell me you made this up?DC CAB and scottied67 Thank this. -
How the heck can you go 72 mph in a swift truck? Downhill with a tail wind? They are governed at about 63 mph.
chompi, JimDriv3r and SweetSouthernRide Thank this. -

if you work for a company, and they give you certain rules to follow, and you break them, you are going to get fired. i'm not sure what you thought would happen here. all swift trucks are regulated at 63 (68 in the older ones). so if you were running one of their trucks at 72, you were clearly messing with something you shouldnt have been. if you were running your own truck, then you should not have taken a job with a company that required you to drive slower than you were willing to drive.
all in all, sounds like YOU were the one that messed up, no matter which way you look at it.
i am also confused by your post. first you state that you were driving 72 and they fired you. then you state that your truck was broken and they fired you for that. these two options are mutually exclusive. if you are looking for pity, you are going to have to clearly explain what happened and why they fired you. otherwise, we are all going to assume you drive as well as you explain yourself and assume it was your fault.DickJones Thanks this. -
Now that's funny, I don't care who you are....
