    ive never used one . but ive never herd any good comments about them either . if you just want 40 channels on AM in a small package then the uniden 68LTW or the 68 ELITE is the best out there in my opinion . with a good antenna setup you'll be 10-8 .

    If you're going to get a radio, get a radio. I inquired about a small Cobra for my car and was informed they are good for about a mile. I'd presume this hand held mic style cb would get out even less. Think of the factory am/fm/cb radios offered in GM cars in the late 70's.
