I was hoping so, but on the net,,,, you never know.
Yes, I was talking about low hanging trees, what a LOT of drivers get away with in a dry van at 13'6" doesn't cut it on a car carrier at the same height.
Just move this question to the car hauler site and see what answers you get.
Not trying to be an ###, but when YOU own the company, and YOU own the equipment, and YOU pay the insurance, it tends to make YOU a little less caviler about things.

I was unaware car haulers were 15' tall and required specialized roads. I was also unaware all car dealerships were on interstates. They would have to be since state highways are too dangerous! -

People are trying to be too precise on the weight of diesel fuel. The newer diesel is lighter than the old. It is my field that came up with 8 pounds per gallon. We use 8lbs because we are loading much more in the tanker. Diesel weight is proportional to temperature at 60° you will have 1 gallon. At lower temperatures you will have more. The law is trying to change everywhere and it's called the "Hot Fuel Law" which will make every seller have temperature correction pumps. Until then most drivers play it safe and use the old system of diesel weighing 8lbs.
LaBubba and CondoCruiser Thank this. -
Snow and ice counts towards your gross weight as it should. Knock it off before you start running if you are running that close to gross.windsmith Thanks this. -
I had a load that I scaled at 79940 with a half tank of fuel. That was fun.
