They CLEARLY told us the iPhone was a US only plan unless we bought an international plan.

Stupid people who don't read contracts? AT&T does write it in English.

What do you expect from the "303" area code?

Not beating up on the companies but what some people don't know is you can get that international calling plan and it will cost you alot. There are some options to avoid having sticker shock; I know of at least 4. I have used all 3/4 and they cost different prices but are still reasonable. I should mention these have to be a GSM phone, that is a quad band operating system

    1) The first is call your provider and let them know you are traveling with your phone to whatever region of the world and say I want to use my phone but I want to use a local chip at that destination. They should give you the unlock code and tell you how to change the operating frequency your bill will never see the charges. Plus a pre paid sim chip is a lot inmost other countries than here.

    2) You could also buy one for travel that is unlocked on the internet, this will be your most expensive option because the actual price for phones these days are expensive. we only get a deal because we pay more in the plans.

3)You could also get one at you r destination and usually they are just like the ones they get off the internet, depends on the country and you might be able to get you a deal. Prices will vary depending on where you get them. Some places you might be able to work a deal and they will set it up for you.

    4) Last but not least you take your current phone from find a phone repair shop that sells phones at your location and ask them to unlock your phone. To do something like make sure you shop around and get a good price.

Just me rambling thoughts in my my head. I have to work late tonight hope you find this helpful

    Sometimes I agree.

I can go a whole day and no calls. Others it seems to ring constantly.
