8 months exp. decent otr company?

Ozark Motor Lines is dry van. No Canada, no NYC, 100% no-touch freight. Trucks have APU's.

 

Being out for a month isn't necessary. Most smaller local outfits will have you home on weekends. I work for a mid size company, about 60 trucks and 20 of them is otr. I run otr and average 3000 miles a week. Home every weekend (unless I go to Cali) and sometimes spend one night at home during the week. Some of the smaller companies want you to have 1yr experience. I would still give it a shot tho. Good luck driver.

 

Unless you live along the coast, you are in the hiring area for Boyd Bros. One more mth of flatbed exp and you would qualify for a $2k sign- on bonus lol. Right now you'd qualify for a $1k sign-on plus .39cpm. Hometime for your area is 6-7 days out with 24-36hrs home.
