I can't send pm but for the most current info with them I'd contact ultra7.

Equipment all depends on what you get. Columbias are all wore out junk. Unload times were typical van unload times, could be any time of day. Home time started lacking and I was getting a royal screwing there on that so I left. No bob tailing home. You take trailer and head home either empty or with a load. As for routes I never followed theirs. You can let them know a shorter or faster way and they will authorize. They do a lot of fedex loads so you will be hanging out all day just to run all night in to morning. I always enjoyed fedex loads.

Always ask why they still work there if it's so bad.
I've known drivers that have been with a company 15 years and they always scream and cry about how horrible the company is. Seems they can never explain why they still work there. Many of them don't want new drivers hired; afraid it will take freight away from them.

Watkins & Shepard is a good company with a terminal in Conover, NC.

Stay the hell away from Prime or any other lease outfit! With only 8 months experience, your choices are limited, in a sense. Your options for local and high paying work will be few if any. Your choices for the mega carriers are limitless but remember, you're still a rookie and your pay will reflect that inexperience. You'll probably see more training with a reputable company or work for peanuts with other well known trucking companies. Do your research....good luck.
