I think Numbers was thinking more along the lines of expungement or some sort of restitution in exchange for a lesser charge or something legal like that.123456 Thanks this.

sorry but with that type of conviction it's no good to look into trucking. aside from the others look at it from the side of the owner. would i hire someone who has a rap sheet with theft on it? can this person be trustworthy again? is it possible that if i give him the chance can i depend on his word to do his job and nothing more?
just some thoughts to consider -
first of all i work at walgreens making 12$ a hour dont really need a job but i wanted to become a truck driver and yall are making it sound like i stole a car, i broke in to one and i had reason it was my ex gf and i had a stereo system installed and she wouldnt give it back to me ...
-
That must have been one helluva system.
-
That's dumb. But now you are learning there are consequences to your actions. So learn from it. You can't hardly blame a company for not wanting you to drive for them with a criminal history. Drivers are a dime a dozen, give a company a reason not to hire you and they'll take it.

Apparently the courts didn't agree. This post pretty much confirms what I suspected from your first post too.
-
Perhaps you are not a crook but your action(s) clearly shows poor judgement on your part.
-
Nothing like commiting a crime that you are bound to be suspected of and caught with the evidence for.
The involvement of a motor vehicle is just an added thing. The real problem is theft. That is a roadblock in this profession as big as DWI.
With all due respect, before you come on here and say it was yours, when you installed it in her car it became hers.
The only way you will ever overcome this is to admit responsibility and move on.
Good luck.lostNfound Thanks this. -
A good post. While it is all important, the emphasized part is what I'm not seeing. Complaining about companies policies regarding such issues doesn't help. And that seems typical of similar posts/ers.BigJohn54 Thanks this.
