Thanks for emphasizing this important point. I have said it many times but will do it again for the OP.

I have hired before for a service business. I will give a person a chance, if it is in my power, providing that person does the following.

They must admit guilt and take responsibility. Then they should speak of lessons learned and move on to sell their strengths. If they weasel or try to justify their actions, right or wrong, I would not give them a second thought!

Spacefrog, next time bring a bat with you. :)

People can change. Unless you are a repeat offender. Keep trying.

All states are different, but a person with a minor conviction can go before a judge ONE time and request an expungement of your criminal record. The judge will seal it and no one can see it.

Do a little research and you'll be on your way. Google Colorodo expungement and see what you get. It's like a box of chocolates.

More lies, because 3 days ago you said you made $9.50 an hour and now you make $12?? Yet you think you had a reason to "break into a car". Possesion is 9/10 of the law:biggrin_25526:

If companies like CRE wont talk to you, your best bet is to wait until you conviction is over ten years, companies have to entrust a driver with houndreds of thousands of dollar, between truck, trailer, and cargo, with a theft charge, it will be hard, you mentioned you had a reason?, you had a stereo installed in your now x-girlfriends car and she wouldnt give it back, It's still stealing!, your best choise would have been to just let it go, or small claim court, but dout you would have won, unless you had some sort of proff, that you where to get the stereo back uncase of break up

best choice would have been to let it go, what are we talking about here $500 bucks. I'm guessing the loss of potential income would have been greater than that.

Agreed, just added the small claims court, because its an option, the stereo was defenitly not worth having a criminal background

Don't we all? I'm just trolling the boards trying to gain some perspective. I feel myself becoming distanced from what I was trying to achieve when I started my new job.
