Its the only useful thing about WalMart. Fishing licenses. Had a gig before where my crew would go fishing one day in Kansas, one day in South Dakota, and back to the watering hole in North Dakota. People would call, "Hey driver, what's your 20?" And you speak in a low voice, "Oh, I'm fishing again." Everyone you know will hate you, but that's a cool type of hate.

"I've been driving back and forth over Vail Pass 3x's/night for the last 8 years and I'm burned out. 31 years old and going grey, I'm looking for a change. I think statistically speaking I've died at least twice. A little sunshine and new scenery would be worth the pay cut I'm expecting but would my experience give me a shot somewhere respectable? I have a dog (Malcom) that rides with me now and I won't get rid of him. I'll probably think of some more questions. Any advice at all is appreciated greatly."
I ca nsee you getting burnt out, I did a dedicated route and it got boring fast, had to leave it, got tired of the split shift (no, not two shifters in the truck) but worked from 8pm until around 8am, no later than 11 or 12 noon (this was back before the 14 hr rule) . Good lick neighbor finding a new job, likeI told MO Money, get an agent to help you I herd about them on Red Eye Radio the other night it was called Professional Driver Agency, they told me it was like athletes have an agent so why not drivers. It sounds good look them up they might help. -
Interesting suggestion. If they're just a service for lazy people I'll pass. I have a few months before I make a decision (I want to finish out the snow season before telling them to find another driver.)

Shaffer is paying 3 cpm more than Crete. Once in a while you may get asked to pull the other box but not often. I believe Hunt doesn't interpull.

Thanks, xls. Reefer scares me. I'd have that temperature on my mind all day.

Yes sir, I'm still looking.

Okay, I only have a company phone and I haven't told my boss I'm looking yet. I should have a personal phone this Friday and I'll shoot you a text. I still need to sell my jeep/furniture and stuff and talk to my landlord about breaking my lease early so I'm not available immediately if that's what you need. Sorry for calling you sir! Unless belle is a guys name and I have both feet in my mouth.

Not to sell myself short but when I said 'dedicated' I meant I drive a dedicated route (and that's just the closest word I could think of to describe it). I'm probably not the best person to help get your company off the ground. I haven't touched a log book in 10 years or dealt with trip planning. It sounds like an exciting opportunity and I can't say I don't wish I had what you're looking for.

Hirschback is putting satellite tv in all their trucks
will see more of that i am sure for driver retention -
Have you tried Professional Driver Agency? They have an add out on radio and in the Road King Magazine, it couldn't hurt to check them out and see what they have to say.
