$8000 sign on bonus legit?

just got off the phone with my recruiter. was calling to let her know that i was putting off orientation for a week. she really harped on the fact that i need to make up my mind because i qualify for the 8k. i asked several times if that was for solo or team. she said that for me a solo out of Texas it would qualify for the 8k.

 

It is legit, but paid out over a long period. Don't expect a lump sum.

 

Make sure you keep up with that. We had to call USX a couple times to get our school reimbursements. It was all good once they fixed it.

 

My husband has been working for USexpress for 6 weeks now. He was eligible for bonus as a solo driver. We have received 1000 after he made his first delivery, 750 after 30 days, and will receive 500 every 90 days thereafter. I will take us three years to get all of it, but we are looking at it as a small bonus every 3 months.

 

Our experience is that USX DOES pay the bonus. Just make sure you are clear on what the bonus is at the beginning. They have many different programs.

It is for solo as well. $1000 on first load then paid out over 3 years every 3 months. Payments are paid out as $500, $750, or $1000. And they do pay it. I signed on as a solo driver with the $8000 sign on bonus and they have honored it faithfully. And they will give you the payment schedule upon request at orientation.
