    Yup. It's only going to be lot driven for a while. One day probably Soon I'll get it sorted out Im thinking it's a gumed
    up filter/regulator or gummed up spool valves

    Dont pre select the splits on a 14613 or 12513. They will get hung up sometimes and sing like an old 2 speed. Make your shift then move the button to under run it out and go back to overdrive

    Other than the noise I think that’s the biggest improvement in newer transmissions: the preselection.
    ETA- in terms of driver friendliness anyway. Lube injection is a hell of a thing.

    After learning on 9 5 and 12 5 13s it took me quite a while to learn to preselect. I had forgotten about that until you mentioned it. Good call!

    I was just crawling around looking for a model number on the trans but both the tags I have found so far just say mp for the model

    I guess if I would have read the sticker in the cab I would have known not to pre select....lol but a truck this age there's no telling what has been changed
