well i hope to not have 140 in it done. not really planning a every nut and bolt restoration. just a working truck restoration but im sure most everything will end up being gone threw. i don't plan on outsourcing any labor so i can't really see it being that much but i guess time will tell.

Keep ecords, but I'm betting if you do most of the wok, it will not cost as much as everybody claims, I know it has not cost me near what I hear guys spending on them.
See if there is not moisture in the air valves on the tranny, it does not a whole lot of moisture and gunk to make them real sluggish, once it gets hot it may shift right till it cools down again.
I don't know about the roof cap, I never priced one that I know of, but the sleeper boots have gotten pricy, like I said, just looking at the pictures, you did good, and should never lose money on it, even after driving it for years.

yeah i don't think its a major issue because it would work flawless sometimes and then not other times...lol the trans itself feels very smooth and tight. my trans in my mack is a sloppy mess compared to the trans in the pete. worst case im thinking it might need to be taken apart and cleaned up wouldn't be hard to believe things might be a little sticky after being off the road sense 2005

Well if you are lucky, since the rears have been updated to newer ones, hopefully that tranny is a 14513, but I am not sure what year they started using them instead of the 12513.

Well I see my neighbors truck is outside and running, I loaned him my torque wrench, to put the head back on yesterday. I hope he can keep that thing together for a while, he bought it ew and it has kept him on the verge of bankruptcy ever since.

iv done them on my mack. no video on that one but a trick i learned working on cars old cars is to run the engines for a bit and take the exhaust manifold bolts loose while its still hot. its a little more miserable working on a hot manifold but things seem to come apart easier.
